No passado dia 27 de janeiro, 33 casais casaram durante a cerimónia dos Grammy.

Quer dar uma espreitadela ao que aconteceu...

Royal...

Tatiana Santo Domingo e Andrea Casiraghi escolheram Gstaad, nos Alpes Suíços, como palco do casamento religioso, no dia um de Fevereiro de 2014.

Para esta cerimónia, ela preferiu algo tradicional. Tatiana usou um belíssimo vestido e capa com capuz, ambos assinados por Valentino e um coque clássico com tiara tipo “fringe”.

A cerimónia aconteceu no Convento de Rougemont, que foi decorado com velas e flores brancas, seguida de festa no Hotel Palace. As comemorações começaram no dia anterior, com um jantar no badalado restaurante Berghaus Eggli. O destination wedding terminou no domingo, com um almoço de despedida no hotel.

Infelizmente não foram publicadas fotos oficiais mas pelas fotos que saíram no Instagram dá para ver que foi um casamento lindo.

Em 2013 houve um pouco de tudo, desde casamentos reais até casamentos de estrelas de Hollywood em castelos franceses. Mas a tendência do ano foi mesmo França como wedding destination!

Tatiana Santo Domingo e Andrea Casiraghi: depois do nascimento do primeiro filho, a milionária e o filho mais velho da princesa Carolina do Mónaco casaram-se numa reservada cerimónia no palácio monegasco. Para o enlace, a it girl escolheu um vestido de noiva da casa italiana Missoni.

Adam Clayton e Mariana Teixeira de Carvalho: o músico dos U2 e a galerista brasileira deram o nó no castelo de Napoule, com vista para o mar, no Sul de França. A festa prosseguiu depois a bordo do iate de Bono e numa villa em Eze-sur-Mer, tendo durado três dias.

Anna Mouglalis e Vincent Rae: a atriz francesa também escolheu o Sul de França, mais concretamente Saint-Paul-de-Vence, para dizer o “sim”. Quanto ao vestido de noiva, usou uma criação de Karl Lagerfeld para a casa Chanel.

Avril Lavigne e Chad Kroeger: a cantora canadiana casou-se com o músico dos Nickelnack no dia do Canadá, 1 de julho, e também escolheu um castelo no Sul de França para o enlace. Porém, a cerimónia destacou-se pelo seu carácter gótico, em parte devido ao vestido de noiva preto da autoria de Monique Lhuillier. A lua de mel foi em Portofino, Itália.

Christina Ricci e James Heerdegen: a atriz usou a sua conta no Twitter para partilhar com os fãs o seu vestido de noiva da Givenchy usado num dos dias mais felizes da sua vida.

Daniela Mercury e Malu Verçosa: depois de assumir a sua homossexualidade, a cantora brasileira oficializou a sua relação com a namorada Malu Verçosa.

Félix do Luxemburgo e Claire Lademacher: os noivos escolheram a Provença francesa para a sua cerimónia religiosa na basílica de Sainte-Marie-Madeleine, na pequena cidade de Saint-Mazimin-la-Sainte-Baume. Para a ocasião, Claire escolheu um modelo de alta-costura de Elie Saab.

Halle Berry e Olivier Martinez: enquanto aguardavam pela chegada do primeiro filho em comum, a atriz norte-americana e o ator francês deram o nó no castelo de Vallery, na região de Borgonha, em França, longe das objetivas dos paparazzi.

A cantora Kelly Clarkson deu o nó com Brandon Blackstock, numa maravilhosa quinta rústica no Tennessee. Deslumbrante num vestido de noiva Temperly rendado, Kelly levou um bouquet bastante colorido, com girassóis e flores lilases, e usou o cabelo apanhado, complementado por um acessório brilhante assinado por Jim Verraros e Maria Elena.

A cerimónia do casamento – realizada sob uma ponte coberta e iluminada – bem como a recepção, foram extremamente simples e contaram apenas com a presença de familiares e amigos mais íntimos, incluindo os dois filhos e a ex-mulher do noivo!

Agé de 31 ans, Sultan Kösen est l'homme le plus grand du monde. Il mesure 2,51m, une taille vertigineuse qu'il doit à une maladie, une tumeur qui affecte le fonctionnement de son hypophyse. Son corps a connu une croissance continue jusqu'à son opération en 2010, à l'université de Virginie aux Etats-Unis. Depuis, Sultan Kösen, de nationalité turque, suit un traitement médical pour contrôler ses hormones de croissance, un traitement qui a permis de stopper le développement de ses membres. L'homme est malgré tout obligé de se déplacer en béquilles, à cause de problèmes importants affectant ses articulations.

Sultan Kösen s'est marié avec une jeune femme syrienne, Merve Dibo, qui mesure elle 1,75m, soit près de 75 cm de moins que son mari. "J'ai trouvé l'amour de ma vie, la femme de ma vie. Je suis très content. [...] Je suis si ému que je n'arrive pas à exprimer mes sentiments avec des mots. je suis l'homme le plus heureux de la terre" a déclaré Sultan Kösen aux journalistes. Le géant a été reconnu en 2011 l'homme le plus grand du monde par le Livre Guinness des records.

Royal Wedding...

Numa cerimónia marcada pela cumplicidade dos noivos e gestos românticos, a princesa Madalena e Chris O`Neill casaram no passado dia 8 de junho.

Ao longo da cerimónia, o corretor da bolsa mostrou-se sempre muito sorridente e feliz e até gracejou com a noiva. 

O casal, passou a lua-de-mel nas Seychelles, vai continuar a morar em Nova Iorque onde se conheceram.

Madalena, filha do rei Carlos Gustavo da Suécia e da rainha Sílvia, usou um vestido digno de princesa, um vestido Valentino deslumbrante. 

Madalena impressionou 470 convidados quando apareceu com um elegante modelo com quatro metros de cauda e seis metros de véu! Feito de seda branca, o vestido tinha um tom marfim com lindíssimas aplicações de renda chantilly.

A completar esta belíssima peça Valentino, também usou uma tiara deslumbrante e um elegante bouquet branco.

O lendário Valentino Garavani esteve presente no casamento real e elogiou Madalena: 'Ela é moderna, divertida, cheia de energia e entusiasmo!’ e ‘Madalena é tão linda! Foi um prazer e uma honra' foram alguns dos comentários sobre Madalena ter casada com um vestido que tem a assinatura da sua maison.

A Ana fez uma trancinha de cada lado e colocou uns bigoudis na parte de trás...

Gostei imenso do penteado que aguentou perfeitamente o dia todo.

09:30 indo eu, indo eu a caminho de Óbidos...

10:15 preparação da Igreja de Nosso Senhor da Pedra.
Missais, lágrimas, cesto de pétalas, cesto de bolhas de sabão, cesto de arroz colorido, cartões EU VOU, ofertório, coro, leituras, flores... Tudo ok

11:30 um galão e um pão com manteiga

12:00 preparação da quinta dos Loridos
Mesa do bolo, marcadores, amêndoas, decoração, balões, tenda, cerimónia das areias, flores... Tudo OK

15:30 de volta à igreja para a cerimónia
Lindos os Noivos....

18:00 recepção com a nossa Animadora para os mais pequenos, o quarteto de cordas Ensemble Faz Música, a Soprano Raquel Alão, a cerimónia das areias, o corte do bolo, as fotografias, a largada de balões... Tudo OK

21:00 jantar com a entrada de sparkles

22:00 o nosso jantar (lagosta, consomé de veado, tamboril, wellington e petit gateau...)

à 01:00 estava tudo encaminhado para uma grande noite de dança e folia... Ficaram até às 07:30 da manhã.

Afinal a reunião de segunda-feira não correu assim tão bem quanto esperava.

No fim da reunião estava bastante confiante, mas desta vez falei demais... Com o meu entusiasmo

Mas as coisas são mesmo assim...

No entanto hoje as coisas sim correram bem e já fui contratada para mais um casamento.

Happy... os noivos estão na Inglaterra.

Minha nossa já tenho tantas ideias a passarem pela cabeça.

É verdade que muitas coisas já estavam definidas quando entrei no processo mas em 5 meses já fiz tanta coisa.

O Festival de Cannes terminou em beleza, sobretudo feminina.
O júri de Steven Spielberg recompensou um filme, “La vie d’Adèle” e as duas atrizes que se despiram no ecrã, tanto no sentido lato como figurado”, disse.

O filme galardoado com a Palma de Ouro foi dirigido pelo realizador franco tunisino Abdellatif Kechiche. Adèle Exarchopoulos e Léa Seydoux são as protagonistas de uma história de amor lésbico.

“É sobre a vida. Penso que Abdel decidiu fazer um filme de amor e sobre o amor. Há sexo e decidiu mostrá-lo, porque para ele era importante, e sobretudo há também a descoberta do desejo”, afirmou Léa Seydoux.

A parte dos vencedores, como sempre a indumentária escolhida pelos actores e sobretudo actrizes faz capa e enche as revistas pelo mundo inteiro.

Wedding cakes nowadays have a variety of designs, layers and flavors. Besides choosing a cake in one's favorite flavor, couples also have to choose the cake according to practical reasons.

Fruit cakes stand up better because of the volume added by the fruit. Fruit cakes are especially great for multi-layered tiers as it can hold the weight of the tiers.

Chocolate cakes can present a problem. Couples are expected to exchange bites of the cake and smile for the photographer right after. Brown smears on the teeth or face will not be flattering on pictures.

Fondant cakes also hold up better, even during warm weather.

Three-tiered cakes can be practical. Bottom layer can be eaten at the reception, middle layer can be distributed for give-aways, and the top layer can be saved and frozen for the next big occasion, such as the first wedding anniversary or the baptism of the couple's first child.

Wedding Location

Weddings are traditionally held in places of worship. Churches, chapels and temples are usual venues to get married. Often a wedding venue is chosen because of its significance to the bride or groom. It could be a church where one attended growing up, etc. Or a parish church officiated by a favorite priest. Some couples pick a place of worship because of its excellent artistic or historical attributes.

Some couples choose to get married where marriage licenses are easier to acquire, such as Las Vegas or a country with easy application process. Some couples choose to get married in their homes.

Gift registration. Couples today can window shop around favorite specialty stores and sign up with the bridal registry. In the registry, they can specify what they need or want. The stores where the couple is registered can be announced during the engagement, or written in the wedding invitation. This way, well-wishers can check out from the store most convenient to buy from and decide on a gift that will surely be used and liked by the couple.

Bridal Shower and Groom's Stag Party. These parties are organized by the maid of honor for the bride, and the Best Man for the groom. It is also done days before the wedding, sometimes the day before. The ladies and gentlemen enjoy the night with activities they consider enjoyable. It is the party that signifies farewell to the bride's and groom's carefree, single life.

Additional Information

While once believed to be totally true by those given in to superstition, the custom is just an act of fun and tradition these days, as no one really believes this anymore. The same is true with the garter thrown by the groom to all of the single men hoping to catch the keepsake.

It seems that American wedding customs have deep-seeded beginnings in superstition. Nowadays, couples use these Wedding traditions and customs for entertainment and for the sake of tradition. The truth is, the couple has all the power they need to make their marriage last through the love that they have for each other. This is a newer superstition because white was started to be worn as a wedding dress only during the Victorian age. And that time, white was worn as an announcement of affluence because white dresses then will only be worn once.

A black wedding gown was considered taboo in the last decades, but recently, this is also becoming an option for brides. Black flatters a woman's figure and skin tone, and this flattery is best needed during a bride's wedding day.

The common superstition these days regarding the wedding dress is that the groom is not supposed to see the bride in her wedding dress before the wedding day. There is also the superstition for the bride to avoid wearing the dress before the day and see herself in the mirror because something to prevent the wedding may happen. This is a problem for the brides who want to make sure everything should be perfect on the day. All brides deserve a perfectly-fitting dress. Some who still want to follow this superstition fit the lining of the dress, and leave all trust to the dress maker. Bridal Bouquet

The type of flowers the bride clutches during the wedding ceremony signify her emotions towards the marriage.

In olden times, the bridal bouquet has herbs and spices instead of lowers. It was believed that these strongly aromatic plants will ward off evil spirits intent on possessing the bride.

At present there are a lot of designs of bouquet the bride may decide to clutch throughout the ceremony. Some bouquets are cascading, others are pomander balls, some wrapped in delicate fabric. The designs are endless.

Some brides decide to carry a bouquet of other significant thing for her, such as rice stalks or small branches of a special plant.

The Veil and the Bridesmaids

The purpose of the bride wearing a veil dates back to when people believed evil spirits were around to try and ruin the wedding ceremony. The bride wore a veil to cover her face so evil spirits would not know she was the bride. Likewise, bridesmaid were made part of the ceremony to surround the bride, so evil spirits would be confused about who the actual bride was, and leave. Many couples today still honor these customs, but use the veil to hide the bride's face until it is first revealed to her groom. The bridesmaids are chosen to help the bride celebrate her happy day. This is also true for the ushers to celebrate with the groom.

Bridesmaid Dress Color

The bride can choose what color that the bridesmaids will wear. The color usually coordinates with the other themes of the wedding, such as similar to the color of the flowers chosen. The bride should also think what color flatters the bridesmaids. These days, it is customary for the bride to decide what color and fabric the bridesmaids will wear, and the bridesmaid will then choose the most flattering style for herself. Some brides choose the other way around, they choose what style the bridesmaids will wear, and the bridesmaids wear different colors of the same style dress.

Rings

Rings, because of its circular shape, symbolize eternity, endlessness… thus a never-ending marriage. Rings can be made of gold, platinum and other metals. Some are encrusted with jewels to signify the value of a couple’s love. Some couples have their names or messages engraved on the rings before the wedding.
